No shipment of 5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ). This perennial plant is named for its high yield production as much as its incredible tasty berries. Most plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag. We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. A thornless blackberry, the Sweetie Pie is excellent for home gardens and pick-your-own (U-pick) operations. ( At this time we are ONLY SHIPPING 3 Gallon or less, no large pots 5 gallon or higher unless prior arrangements have been made by calling 85 ) Sweetie Pie Blackberry Plants Perfect for the home orchard, the Sweetie Pie Blackberry was bred by the USDA in Poplarville, MS so it tolerates the southern heat beautifullly. Fruit are medium size, glossy black and have excellent sweet flavor. Plants grows vigorously and produces numerous floricanes, which are thornless and have a trailing (or semi-erect without fruit) growth habit. It grows vigorously and is considered one of the best for the southern states. Sweetie Pie blackberry variety was selected by the USDA in Poplarville, Mississippi, United States. ![]() It grows to a height of approximately 6 ft and has a spread of about 3ft. The Sweetie Pie Blackberry (BotanicalName: Rubus fruticosus 'Sweetie pie' ) is a semi-erect heat tolerant and very tasty blackberry! It has high yields of medium-sized berries.
